Schools

We are excited to work with you! The Ukrainian Museum of Canada offers a mix of museum-led and teacher-led visits and workshop options.

Teacher-led visits

Explore the Ukrainian Museum of Canada with your students, stopping to investigate any of our three exhibition spaces. Museum gallery guides and scavenger hunts are available upon request.

Museum-Led Programs

Ukrainian Museum of Canada staff or volunteers will lead you and your students through set tours and/or workshops (pysanky-making, motanka-making, Ukrainian embroidery, etc.). This includes:

  • Greeting your group when you arrive to welcome you, share our history, and introduce the exhibitions.
  • Ensure that any required materials are ready.
  • Lead and facilitate workshops, as requested.
NOTE: Depending on your students’ ages, chaperones may be required to help students with some activities.

Virtual Programs and Workshops

A safe opportunity for students to learn from their own classrooms or homes. Virtual programs may be tailored to include online tours, Q&A sessions, colouring pages, and/or activity sheets. The Museum also offers virtual online workshops in pysanky-making, motanka-making, and embroidery.

Teachers interested in booking a Visit in person or online are asked to call us at: 306-244-3800, or email: amisan@umcnational.ca
