Museum-Led Workshops

Our expert staff and volunteers provide an immersive learning experience, including a guided introduction to our history and exhibitions, and curriculum-based workshops, such as:

• Pysanka-Making (Grade 3-12): Learn the traditional wax-resist technique to create beautiful Ukrainian Easter eggs. Offered only before Easter, from March 5 to April 17, 2025 (Wednesdays to Fridays).
• Motanka-Making (K-12): Explore the art of crafting traditional Ukrainian rag dolls.
• Weaving Workshop (K-12): Discover the basics of Ukrainian weaving techniques.
• Petrikivka Painting (K-12): Create vibrant decorative patterns inspired by this iconic folk art.
• Ukrainian Embroidery (K-12): Learn intricate designs and stitching techniques rooted in tradition.
