The Ukrainian Museum of Canada was built by volunteers, and still relies on volunteers for many of its activities.
There are many roles for volunteers to play here!
Volunteers share their knowledge and enthusiasm by assisting in the delivery of workshops and hosting public programs and special events, and they support behind-the-scenes activities in the collection, and library, as well as front-of-house in our gift store and garden!
Every volunteer offers invaluable support to the museum, and they get something back from it too.
You don’t need experience to be a valuable volunteer, nor do you need to speak Ukrainian, or even be of Ukrainian descent. We do our best to match the interests of volunteers with the activities that are part of ongoing museum operations, and we provide training where needed.
If you are interested in volunteering – a little or a lot – please contact us!
